Vehicle Rental Services (VRS) is a network of independently owned car and van rental operators. Whilst the terms and conditions of rental companies throughout the UK are broadly the same, the precise terms and conditions for each rental operator, including each VRS member, will vary from company to company.

At the point of renting a vehicle from a VRS member, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement which sets out all the terms and conditions of hiring. If you would like to see the rental terms and conditions prior to renting, you should ask the VRS member to send you a copy of their terms and conditions. You should be aware that a rental agreement is a legal document between you and the VRS member. The VRS member will have had the document approved by a lawyer or the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association and as a result, the standard terms and conditions of rental cannot be amended on an individual customer basis.
